Registration for our Spring 2025 season is now open.
*Students currently in the Continuing Ensemble will move up to our Resonance Ensemble; which meets at 6pm. All other students will remain in their current ensemble.
The five o’clock hour will be reserved for special rehearsals and sectionals throughout the season. Advanced notice would be given to families, to allow for planning, if attendance at 5pm is needed.
Intermediate Beginner Strings
Meeting Tuesdays: 5:00-5:50p.m.
Spring 2025: February 4, 2025- April 29, 2025

Spring Concert April 29, 2025@ 6pm.
Spring registration is open to CURRENT Beginning Strings students. New Beginning students will need to wait and register in the Fall.
Continuing Strings Class
Meeting Tuesdays: 5:00-6:00p.m.
Spring 2025: February 4, 2025- April 29, 2025
(No rehearsal April 1st)
Spring Concert April 29, 2025@ 6pm.
This class is for students who have taken our beginning orchestra or early intermediate orchestra class and are ready for the next level of instruction. Students continue to practice reading notation and playing parts independently in a group ensemble. This course will focus on skills needed to refine musical development including the use of vibrato, performing extreme dynamics, shifting into 2nd and 3rd position, and playing 2 octave scales. Students will perform music requiring increased technical skill, improve sight reading skills, and prepare for entry into higher level ensembles.
Beginning Orchestra Class

Fall 2022: September 13-December 13, 2022 (no class Nov 22)
Concert December 13, 2022 @ 6:00p.m.
This class is for students who have no experience playing the violin and would like to learn.
Resonance Ensemble
Meeting Tuesdays: 6:00-7:00p.m.
(Prerequisite: Teacher Recommendation)

This class is for students who have taken our beginning, early intermediate, and continuing orchestra courses and are ready for the next level of instruction. Jesse L. Suggs, Jr. Chamber Ensemble
Meeting: Tuesdays – 6:00p.m. – 7:00p.m.

This ensemble is for students who have advanced technical skill, refined vibrato, demonstrate mastery shifting in 3rd-6th positions, and fortitude to practice on their own. Students are expected to practice and perform at a high level. At least 2-3 additional hours of practice is expected per week outside of class to master advanced chamber and orchestral literature written by diverse composers.
Beginning Guitar or Piano/Keyboard
